Janice Tucker, the visionary founder of Janice Vision Homes (JVH), is a dedicated advocate for survivors of domestic violence. With a deep passion for supporting those in need, Janice, alongside co-founder Aretha Ward, established JVH in 2016. Their shared commitment to holistic care and empowerment has driven JVH's success.

 

As a nonprofit organization, JVH has been dedicated to aiding survivors of violence and their children in Chicago, IL, since 2016. Our comprehensive services, including food, clothing, shelter, job training, and counseling, are provided to our clients free of charge. Together, Janice Tucker and Aretha Ward form a dynamic team that continues to make a significant impact on the lives of domestic violence survivors in Chicago, IL.

 Our core mission revolves around empowering domestic violence survivors to attain self-sufficiency, financial independence, and access to counseling services. At JVH, we foster a supportive community where survivors can flourish and build a brighter future.

Our Vision

We want to create a safe space for women and children who have experienced domestic violence to become self-sufficient, independent and abuse free. We want them to have the tools necessary to function in society as productive financially, physically and mentally stable citizens who are well educated and have a stable home and family.
